Mon Calamari – Scientific Island on SL

A Jedi can learn much from the harmony and balance of nature.

The ocean, the desert, the forest are an endless cycle of life.
It teach us how to learn of the others, and how the balance in the same path is important.

As Jedi, we are sensitive to the force, and how it flows through every life, we have a great interrest in plants and animals found on different planets, And for Jedi Healers, the feeling is often stronger for all forms of life. Our place in the order is to learn and teach the way of peace.

Due to the wars, species in a number of worlds have come close to extinction, so, Euro NOJ has an opportunity, as jedi to protect those species and find them a suitable habitats, whether animal or plant for this purpose, we used the two rivers on Yavin IV. Unfortunatelly, the NOJ were betrayed and left the planet.

Mon Calamari offered us a safe place and their help and we decided to set up the Euro NOJ base here.

Mon Calamari welcomed our gnooroop of Aquaris, It’s a pregnant female, called Orca. that was given, just alive, to Master Claire Pascale by a Gungan. We’ll need to improve the habitat to take care of this creature untill we can organise her rescue to a suitable ocean.

In Mon Calamari we keep creatures of the Coral kind. and there are many different kinds of sea grass and Fishes.

We work to respect biodiversity and ecosytem, we hope to be joined by scientists.

Thanks to this, NOJ will actively participate in protecting species from all over the galaxy and we need our consulars and ambassadors, to make the retrieval of such plants and species easier.
